Pole-Island Direct in association with C.I Travel Group and in conjunction with FlyBE wishes to announce direct flights to and from Poland in Easter 2011.
The first series of flights to Warsaw will be departing on Saturday's 16, 23, 30th April, if successful further flights will be added and possibly flights to Krakow as wll.
If you are looking to either fly to Jersey from Poland for the season or looking to fly home for Easter then we suggest you book your flights as soon as possible to avoid any disapointment.

price like that you can set for jersey citizens
but how many of them will fly to Poland and how many times ?

These flights are at Easter, the costs to run an air service at this time of the year is very expensive, when you take into consideration the costs currently to fly to Warsaw with BA you are looking at a price of Ł240 per person with airport transfers.
And BA own their own aircraft, when are chartering a plane from FlyBE which equal higher costs, we won't be able to make everybody happy and some will still travel 12 hours to get to Poland through the UK to save money.
We just hope that enough people will appreciate this direct service to Poland. |

i like that idea,we were waiting for that so long time,i cant remember how many times i was sleeping in airports,how many times plane was late(even15h) or cancelled without reason.great idea ,i hope you will have good deal with that.my friends and me keeping fingers for you.

Yes if the flights are a success which after the amount of bookings we have received today (our first day on sale) then we will be looking to add another series of flights in May, I think the 21st and 28th we are looking at now.
Easter and Xmas are always going to be more expensive, especially cabin crew, ground staff, pilots etc which get paid higher wages at this time.
We will probably be looking at Krakow then, but we must wait first, I don't want to promise anything just yet, just remember these are test flights first, I want them to lead on to a whole season of flights then costs will drop even further. |

Ok to answer some questions that have been raised recently.
1. How much are the tickets?
Adult + Child £290 Return
Infant £40 Return

2. Warsaw not Krakow?
Well b=y choosing either Warsaw or krakow their would be some disappointed people, however these are test flights to see if their is a high demand, I am very keen to add Krakow as a destination and i would hope to have 2 flights in May if the Easter flights are successful, I can't promise though
3. Why is the pricing so high?
It really isn't that high, average prices with BA are around £230 plus you will need to travel from Gatwick to Heathrow at £36 return with national express, also what you need to take into consideration is the following:
BA, RyanAIR, EasyJET etc own their own aircraft and have their own staff, we are chartering a plane from FlyBE for three flights at Easter time, costs are substantially higher
4. How much baggage allowance am I allowed?
We allow 20Kg of hold baggage and 10kg hand, all included in the price

o90 you are so rude!  and speak for yourself! for me the price is a little bit cheaper than I would normally pay with all the transfers etc. and it will be so much less hassle when I finally fly directly!  |

At least somebody is trying to do something for Poles, so why not support it ? It's another option for everybody. Personally I rather waste few more £, than my time and hustle in and between airports etc. ... £290 during Eastern... it's good enough for me.  |
